Farm Waste Recycling
We are the premier choice for Agricultural and Equine waste in the Tayside area.
Farm Waste Recycling are the first choice for agricultural and equestrian waste in the East of Scotland and are fully licensed by SEPA (Scottish Enivronment Protection Agency). We provide a waste transfer note as required by many stewardship schemes.
The types of waste we accept are:
- silage wrap
- fertiliser bags
- crop cover
- polytunnel
- chemical drums
- cardboard
- peat bags
- growbags
- feed bags
- IBCs
- fuel tanks
Skips can also be provided on farm.
On site, we sort, clean and bale your waste ready for transportation to the processing factories. All polythenes are in a closed loop – recycled and used again in the UK. The plastics are pelletised and manufactured into pit liners, refuse sacks and plastic lumbar. Many local authorities are now using the plastic furniture created from your silage wrap in recreational areas as they are very durable and don’t require painting.
We also have plastic sheeting made from the recycled plastic available for sale which have a variety of uses in the agriculture, construction, gardening and landscaping industries.
As we have come from a farming background we understand that a farmers time is precious, which is why we offer farmers the choice to drop off their waste or have it collected. The transfer station is located at Muir of Pert Farm, Tealing, near Dundee. Please phone ahead to arrange a suitable time for drop off or collection. We can collect your farm waste from anywhere in Scotland. Get in touch with us or telephone Peter on 07713 631995 to get a quote.
